Thank you to Deacon Mike who led our PSR 5th Grade on a tour around the Church and to our Grade 5 catechist, Mary Halsey, for her dedication to this ministry!

Burning of the Palms – February 13, 2018

If you have never been to the burning of the Palms, make sure you come next year!  How Spirit filled to see our palm become ashes for Ash Wednesday. (Click on image to see larger view.)

Ministry Fair – February 10 & 11, 2018

St. Polycarp Ministry Fair was held after Masses on  February 10th and 11th in Mother Drexel Hall. Representatives of our many ministries, organizations and committees were represented.  Parishioners stopped by to see and learn about the growing number of service opportunities available.  All parishioners are encouraged to become involved in service to others as we continue to build the Kingdom of God here at St. Polycarp Church.  Click on image to view larger picture.                         Click here to see our Organizational Chart

Parish Appreciation Party – February 3, 2018

Our Annual Parish Appreciation Party was held, Saturday evening, February 3, 2018.  Anyone active in a Church organization or serves in any ministry was invited to attend.  The evening began with appetizers, followed by a delicious dinner catered by Smyrna Diner.  We enjoyed the beautiful voice of Cindy Shields – also known as “Patsy Cline”.  Of course, as always here at St. Polycarp, there were plenty of wonderful desserts!  The hall looked beautiful! Thank you to the event planners and everyone who helped make this such a wonderful evening!  And to all who serve here at St. Polycarp, you are wonderful examples of putting faith into action.  We thank you and may God bless you for all you do.
