Mission Statement
Sacristans are responsible for preparing the Church for Mass. They arrive early to open the Church to allow the congregation to enter and pray, prepare and clean the sacred vessels, monitor the sanctuary, and put everything back in its proper place before locking up the Church after Mass. They manage the setup and cleanup of Mass so that the priest and congregation may focus on what is important: God and the Liturgy.
If you have an interest in serving the Church with this ministry, please reach out to the head sacristan, Adam Bauer, at sciencedude1995@gmail.com.
