PASTORAL LETTER – Stones Faith Garden

This week, we celebrate National Catholic Schools Week. During this annual celebration of Catholic education in the United States, we are reminded of the importance of passing on the faith. In conjunction with Catholic Schools Week, our Parish is launching an exciting new project. Please CLICK HERE to read a Pastoral Letter from Fr. Jim explaining how everyone can easily help pass on the faith. We are looking forward to participation from everyone!

Connected in Christ

Join us on Zoom every Friday at 11:00 am to discuss various topics of our faith. The Christian Formation Committee is hosting these Friday online get-togethers. If you would like to attend (doesn’t matter if it’s one time, two times or every time) contact Peggy at peggyo52@aol.com  so that you will be sure to receive advance reminders and links to the sessions.

Spiritual Communion

My Jesus,

I believe that You are present in the Most  Holy Sacrament. I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart.

(brief pause to unite oneself with Jesus)

I  embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You.
Never permit me to be separated from You.

Amen.

Blessing of the Animals – October 2020

On October 4th, 2020, we continued our parish tradition of the Blessing of the Animals. This tradition honors St. Francis of Assisi, patron saint of animals.  The Blessing was attended by dogs, cats, a turtle, a lizard and their people. This year, we met in the parking lot so that we could socially distance. Masks were required for all humans.  To view pictures, click on the link below.
