Annual Forum
The Annual Forum is held once a year on the fourth Sunday in September following the 10:30 am Mass. The Annual Forum is a Parish gathering with short presentations from the Pastoral Council, the Finance Council, and the Parish Staff who will inform the parish community of the state of the parish and what they have been doing for the last year. An update on the “Hopes and Dreams” from last year’s forum are included. After listening to the speakers, the parishioners are asked for their “Hopes and Dreams” for the parish in the future. All parishioners are invited to attend.
Please plan on joining in this important time for our family of faith.
It is only together that we can build the Kingdom of God here at St. Polycarp.

Blessing of the Animals
On Sunday, October 6, 2019, we celebrated St. Francis of Assisi (October 4) and his love for all creatures with the Blessing of the Animals. Dogs, lizards, hermit crabs, ducks and their people, gathered together in front of the Church to receive the Blessing by Deacon Frank. Each pet present received a prayer card and medal of St. Francis. The short prayer service was followed by a raffle. All pets who were present were entered in the raffle. A pet walk followed. It was a wonderful celebration of St. Francis, his love of animals and our parish family, including their beloved pets.

Email from Fr. Jim????
Just a reminder: Several parishioners are once again receiving emails claiming to be from Fr. Jim. Fr. Jim would not ask you to send him gift cards or money. He would never email you asking for a favor. Please, if you get a suspicious e-mail claiming to be from Fr. Jim, delete, delete, delete!
CATECHETICAL SUNDAY 2019

We also give thanks for all those who assist them!
