ONLINE BULLETINhttps://www.jppc.net/onlinebulletins/301template.pdf

2021 ANNUAL CATHOLIC APPEAL :  Please visit our online Bulletin or visit www.cdow.org/annualcatholicappeal to find out how you can help provide pastoral, charitable, and educational programs and services to tens of thousands of people in our 12 county Diocese. St. Polycarp’s ongoing example of stewardship has been the epitome of generosity in years past.

USHERS AND GREETERS: Please consider volunteering for this simple but important ministry to welcome people to Church and/or to help seat them.  Contact Cindy at (302)653-7525 or kennedy-078@msn.com or Tom at (302)659-5317, odrain709@comcast.net.

DO YOU KNOW MICROSOFT WORD? THE WEEKLY BULLETIN NEEDS YOUR HELP! We’re looking for someone to temporarily help with the Bulletin. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and ability to proof read. Help needed as soon as possible. Please contact Judy at the Parish Office 302-653-8279 or email communications@saintpolycarp.org.

RESERVATIONS NEXT SATURDAY: Next weekend at our 4pm Mass on Saturday, May 1, six of our parish children  will receive Jesus for the first time in the Sacrament of Holy Eucharist. A limited amount of spaces will be reserved for them. Don’t wait until the last minute to make your reservations for Mass. Reservations will be accepted on the regular days.  CLICK HERE for reservation information.

MAY CROWNING: Please join us outside, in front of the statue of Mary, next Sunday, May 2, following the 10:30 a.m. Mass for a short ceremony to crown Mary. We ask that everyone practice social distancing and wear masks. There will not be a procession, nor will we bring flowers to Mary like we normally would. Last year we were unable to gather for this special ceremony. Crowning Mary this year shows that we are moving towards some normalcy, which is good news. Please join us in honoring Mary on May 2. All are welcome!

HANGING FLOWER BASKETS: The Brother Vincent Columbiettes are selling 10″ hanging baskets. Your choice of Petunias or Begonias. Orders must be placed by April 30th. LET US PRAY:
Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil; May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; And do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and all evil spirits who wander through the world for the ruin of souls. Amen.”
